Rev Chris Larsen

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Master of Divinity in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Family
Carol and Chris both consider Huntsville, AL home. They met at the University of Alabama in Huntsville Baptist Campus Ministries way back in 1989. They later were married while Chris was a student at New Orleans Seminary and after Carol finished her degree in Elementary Education. Chris served churches in Louisiana and Alabama before coming to Myrtle Grove. Carol has taught first graders at Pleasant Grove Elementary School since 2005. Their oldest daughter, Hannah, is a graduate from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education and currently teaches in Pensacola. Their younger daughter, Rebecca recently graduated from the University of South Alabama pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Pastimes
Almost any kind of sport, especially when the Alabama Crimson Tide is playing.
Life Verse

Bachelor of Science in Worship Leadership with a concentration in Church Ministry from the University of Mobile
Master of Arts in Theology and Worship Leadership from the University of Mobile.
Family
Cody is married to Abigail. Cody is from Havana Florida and met Abigail while in School at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He transferred to the University of Mobile in 2016 and graduated in May 2021 with his Master of Arts degree. He has served at Churches in Louisiana and Alabama before coming to Myrtle Grove.
Pastimes
Watching almost all sports (Go Noles), learning new music, hunting, fishing and pretty much anything outdoors.
Life Verse
Galatians 2:20-21 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

Drew Webb

Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Texas Baptist College at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
Family
Drew and Shelby married in 2018. They met in Texas through mutual friends while Drew was a student at TBC. It is a crazy story that you should ask them about. Drew has served in multiple churches in both Mississippi and Texas in ministries from children’s to college and young adults before joining the Myrtle Grove team.
Pastimes
Anything revolving around sports, outdoors, and cooking. Drew is a big fan of Mississippi State. He also enjoys shooting his recurve bow whenever he gets the chance.
